I started working with tax attorneys and CPAs preparing exit strategy planning and income tax planning for their business owners. I was working for a Fortune 100 company and saw how every single business owner was frustrated that their advisors were never on the same page. So in 2010, I left the "safe" corporate job to provide fractional CFO services. But nobody in 2010 knew what "fractional CFO services" actually entailed. I started with a few clients and Legacy Consultants grew from there. We worked with businesses in just about every sector, including professional athletes. But I knew in order to be the best at what we do, we couldn't be all things to all people. I realized that the industry I work the best with and had the most success was with law firms (point of order-I'm married to one). My husband, Brian, encouraged me to go out and start talking to firms about their needs. 14 years later, our clients trust us like we are one of the partners and know that we are helping them to position themselves for growth, mitigating their risks, and refining operations all while remaining completive for client and talent retention.
